The IWE N relay is a define relay suitable for earth fault relay protections of a generators, transformers, motors, capacitor bank, shunt reactors and radial feeders in distribution networks.
Interconnected networks, or when protecting parallel feeders, directional earth fault protection is required to ensure discriminative tripping, and in such cases, a directional relay SEG type IWE/R is required (please refer to publication IWE/R).
