The synchronizer unit SY1  is supplied from one phase of each system. The unit compares the two frequencies, the difference in voltage and measures the phase coincidence and gives led impulse to close the alternator circuit breaker.

 

Application

This unit is normally used for switching on Parallel generating sets with either the mains supply or with other generating sets

Synchronizing unit SY1  is monitoring these values angives an output impulse, when they are within theipre-set limits
